Recoil was formed in late 2021, drawing inspiration from Swedish metal giants like In Flames, Entombed, and At The Gates, as well as iconic American bands such as Death, Pantera, and Machine Head. The result is a sound that seamlessly blends innovation with nostalgia, paying homage to the roots of heavy metal while forging a path forward. Their debut album, Brace for Recoil, was recently released, showcasing their ability to merge crushing riffs, intricate melodies, and powerful vocals into a cohesive, hard-hitting experience.
