Artemis is a three-piece rock/metal band from Delft/Amsterdam with increasingly progressive tendencies. While their earlier work featured accessible blues-rock, they are now pushing the boundaries with complex rhythms, unexpected riffs, and deep themes. At the same time, they maintain a powerful, sincere sound that invites headbanging. Consequently, the album currently in development bears little resemblance to the debut EP "Falcon" from 2024 or the single "Huntress" from May of last year. Those were more accessible blues-rock songs. But now Artemis is coming with a rougher, more complex, progressive sound. Artemis combines influences from Rush, Soundgarden, Porcupine Tree, and Led Zeppelin into a progressive and energetic sound that manages to surprise the audience time and again.

The Amsterdam band plays emotional indie rock, where slow, melancholic, and energetic, layered songs alternate. The lyrics are honest yet warm. The instrumental sound is surprisingly danceable.
